Our Story & Mission
Welcome! First off, you should know that I believe small business owners are changing the world. We all buy from small business owners - and it's the lifeblood of our economy. And as a small business owner myself, I know what a difference we can make in others' lives - and our own - through our businesses.
My career calling has to be to support a specific group of business owners: women who are just getting started. With that, my heart & soul has been put into guiding AND championing them. They are proving that even as scary as it may be, starting & building your own business is one of the most fulfilling & rewarding things you will ever do. have no greater joy than helping women gain the confidence & knowledge needed to turn their business dreams into reality. It's simply awesome to watch them pursue their dreams!
But, I after coaching many new businesses owners, I have seen a trend.
They struggle with 2 main things:
1 - Finding good specialists to hire for certain aspects of their business
AND
2 - Gaining visibility & exposure so that the people that will love what they offer can find them
I realized had to do something more to stop their frustration & stalling. It was time to reach beyond myself by supporting them & championing them in a whole new way!
So, I decided to create this simple platform to connect new business owners with the world, whether it be as sellers of their goods/services or as a buyer of services to help them grow their businesses.
Thus, this She's Just Getting Started Market. (And in case you don't know, I host a podcast called She's Just Getting Started and couldn't help but continue with that name :))
