How to actually make money as a new coach, service provider or online business owner.
 

Starting a coaching or service-based business can be incredibly fulfilling—you get to help real people, make a real difference, and actually see the impact of your work. But let’s be honest: just because it’s meaningful doesn’t mean it’s easy to make money doing it.

In fact, one of the biggest struggles I see? So many amazing, gifted women start with a spark—an idea, a calling, a desire to serve—and then get stuck. They spin in circles trying to figure out the perfect platform, the right offer, the exact price, whether to start a podcast or YouTube channel… and before they know it, months (or years!) have gone by and the business still isn’t making money.

Here’s what I want you to know:
It’s not your lack of passion or your lack of expertise.


It’s likely misalignment.

If you want your coaching or service business to grow, three things have to line up:

  1. The season of life you’re in

  2. The people you're uniquely meant to serve

  3. What your clients are willing to pay for

When even one of those is off? You stay stuck. Growth stalls. And the money doesn’t come.

Let’s break it down:

👉 Your season of life matters. If you're juggling kids, a job, caregiving, or just don’t have full-time hours to pour in, your business model needs to match that. You don’t have to build a big group program or post 10 times a week on social. That’s not realistic—or necessary.

👉 You have to serve the right people. If you’re unclear about who you’re helping, your message will always feel awkward and confusing. But when you're aligned with the right audience—the people who truly need what you offer—it becomes so much easier to explain what you do and why it matters.

👉 You must offer something people are ready to pay for. You might love your framework. You might feel called to teach a specific method. But if people don’t recognize the problem you solve as their problem, they’re not going to invest. And that doesn’t mean you’re not good at what you do—it just means your offer needs to shift.

Here’s the good news:
This isn’t about working harder.
It’s not about complicated funnels or dancing on reels.
It’s about creating a simple, aligned offer—one that works with your life, fits your calling, and solves a problem your ideal client wants solved right now.

Because when your business feels heavy, scattered, or exhausting—it’s usually not that you’re not cut out for this. It’s just that something’s out of alignment.

So take a breath. Step back. And ask yourself:
✨ What if this could feel simpler?
✨ What if it could feel lighter?
✨ What if it could actually work?

You don’t have to follow someone else’s formula. You just need a business that fits you—and serves others in the process. That’s the real key to building something profitable and meaningful.
